I've used it for quite some time now and have learnt a lot about it. I have used it with the stock rom(original firmware), installed custom rom, updated stock rom, flashed with wrong rom, bricked it, unbricked it, tried several dtv apps, used biss key, downloaded youtube videos/mp3 etc. So the info posted will help those who already have it and those intending to buy it. One thing I’d like users to know is that KII pro stb is a good TV box. With the right settings and right apps, you will enjoy using it. But as with any other system out there, it has some issues which I’ll discuss here and how to solve them. Feel free to ask any question regarding this TV box. It is very difficult to know the brand of your box since most boxes sold online are identical and are not branded. If you want to update or change the firmware don't risk flashing any firmware as this may brick your box and render it useless. There's a tool you can use to determine your brand but it will cost you $5(donation) to get it. With it you will be able to choose the right firmware for your device and eliminate the possibility of bricking it. Immediately after donating you will automatically be taken to the download page. How to put bisskey in kii pro? 1) Press DTV ok with remote control 2) Dvbs 2 ok with remote control 3) When the menu pops up, press 6 times (111111) 4) the monitor will display Smart data and biss (press smart data.ok with remote control) 5) Press the red button 6) After you open the configuration window cccam you need to enter your information Cccam ENABLED ON SERVER ADRESS *********** SERVER PORT ******* USER NAME **** PASSWD ***** 7) press ok with remote control 8) exit, These are the steps to Cccam. To help you unbrick yours, I have compiled these tools: The firmware Pc drivers for the TV box Detailed tutorial with pictures (ms word) Video tutorial with voice over You will need a pc and a male to male usb cable to unbrick your box. I have provided in the tutorial instructions on how to make your own male to male cable by joining two usb male ends. Compiling these tool and tutorials is not an easy task. so you need to donate in order to download. Also rest assured that your box will work again if you use my tools. Your box is not dead.
